As did the First Doctor, so I think it’s a poorly thought out criticism of the show.

He turns up in Season 12 of the Buffy comics, but it was only four issues long and so all a bit of a disappointment.
It’d be The Mayor in Buffy for me. Sure he’s evil through and through but he’s just so gosh darned polite.
I’ve gone a bit mad and written a 1,400 word review of the episode - https://comedytowatch.wordpress.com/2018/10/01/tv-review-the-simpsons-season-30-episode-1/ - Though the short version is: I liked it, there’s a few minor problems but in general I thought it was a strong episode.
I was surprised that Tommy Cooper wasn’t mentioned, over here in the UK it was an incredibly notable event, and one which I saw live though at the time I was too young to understand what had happened and my parents lied to me and claimed he’d just fainted.
Ditto.
I find it easy to disagree with del Toro’s assessment, Saul’s a decent show but no way close to being as good as Breaking Bad.
I thought it was pretty poor unfortunately, Constantine’s narration seemed off, and the story as a whole was a fairly bland one. Then again I’m tired of the whole Grim Dark Batman stuff and much prefer Tom King’s run on the series, it’s certainly had it’s bleak moments (and I’m concerned about the way 55 ends) but a…
You are 100% right and in my time I’ve without doubt spent thousands and thousands of pounds on comics (I’m based in the UK, hence the currency) and still try to buy as much as I can now, but I’m horribly poor and so can’t always afford to. But once I’m working again I will start only reading what I can afford to buy.
Marvel manage to put out three movies a year and no one complains (well, okay, some do, but critically and box office wise they tend to do pretty well) and there’s no reason why the same shouldn’t apply to Star Wars given they have a whole galaxy to play with. They just need to make interesting and enjoyable films and…
I get where you’re coming from, and have to admit that whilst I still buy a fair amount of graphic novels a lot of the time I read comics for free thanks to various dodgy sites online, there’s no way I could afford to buy even half of the things I enjoy reading.
You probably should regret it. Sure a lot of DC and Marvel is tedious tosh but there’s a lot of other great comics out there which really are superb.
I really enjoyed Spring and The Endless and quite liked Resolution, though it’s not as good as their other two movies. But I’m still really looking forward to this too.
The only thing I haven’t seen is their segment of V/H/S Viral as I thought the first movie was pretty shite, does anyone know if it’s worth seeking out?
Yeah, Zack’s review is terrible. But then that’s not a surprise, most of his writing usually is pretty shoddy and weak.
From that it sounds like it’ll be Manny.
Given the amount each person paid I’m surprised they didn’t build a large underground greenhouse so that they could at least grow vegetables. And fuck it, an even larger bunker underneath to keep 20+ years worth of basic food instead of the shitty cubes, as in the event of a nuclear holocaust there’s no way 18 months…
Alan Cumming played Nightcrawler in X-Men 2, but I guess that was a Fox Marvel film so doesn’t technically count.
Revenge got a cinema release in the UK, so I think you’re right.
You’re absolutely right, and I should have phrased it much better - the movie suggests it’s okay for old men to groom young women, and take advantage of their lack of experience, women of any age can of course fuck whoever they like.
It leaked online last year so I saw it then.
