Gah, I’m so annoyed, for the past few weeks I’ve been watching Black Panther’s total box office number hoping it’ll make it over $700,000,000 but given that it only made $3,000 this week it’s going to fail to do so by such a tiny amount!

And yes, I know it’s a silly thing to be irritated by, but I really wanted it to

I’m very confused about Patrick Ness, I enjoyed A Monster Calls a lot, but his Doctor Who spin-off Class was appalling, so I’ve no idea whether this will turn out well or not.

I’ve just read the first three issues thanks to this article and enjoyed them greatly, so thank you for that Mr Sava!

Moore has written a few short films, three of which were joined together to make one feature length film, a friend supported the kickstarter for them and so I got the chance to watch them and did really enjoy them. More info’s here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show_Pieces

I wanted to like this show because Brent Spiner is superb in it, but it’s painfully slow, the actor playing Kyle is ridiculously dull, and whilst there’s the odd impressive moment of horror too many of the episodes feel like filler. Plus given how it ends and that a third season is unlikely, I really don’t think it’s

It’d be episodes from seasons 2 - 8 of The Simpsons for me. There’s comedy I love more (Nathan For You, Delocated, Review With Forrest MacNeil) but The Simpsons is the ultimate comfort tv for me.

I’ve planned for everyone at the funeral to sing Jarvis Cocker’s “***** Are Still Running The World” at my funeral, karaoke style.

Indeed, you’ll be greatly missed Mr O’Neal, your writing is what led to me visiting the site on a daily basis and it won’t be the same without you.

I was never a huge fan of his but a friend gave me a ticket as a birthday present so I saw him last night and was really impressed, he was far funnier than the previous shows I’d seen online, and got a good few rounds of applause from a London audience who rarely do such a thing.

I saw this trailer at the cinema on the anniversary of the Grenfell Tower tragedy, and it did not go down well with the audience. Which isn’t the fault of the movie, but you would have thought whoever decided to screen it should have put a bit more thought in to it.

I read his book a couple of months ago and it’s superb stuff, very funny in places but also damn bleak in others. Will be interesting to see how the series handles the latter, especially as it involves patients dying in childbirth...

I’ve got one of the UK versions of this (Odeon Limitless, £19.99 a month) and it’s just led me to watching a lot of weak movies that I’d normally have avoided, or waited until they were on netflix to watch. I really regret signing up for it, and as soon as my year’s up I’m definitely going to cancel it.

Re: “and a cast-against-type Jonah Hill” - You mean he’ll finally be playing someone likeable who you don’t want to repeatedly punch in the face? I’ll believe that when I see it good sir!

What, no The Walking Dead?

I jest, it is of course terrible these days.

I only discovered the comics recently but absolutely loved them, and when I saw this article became incredibly excited. But then I read the comments here and realised when the movie comes out half of the internet will be an incredibly bleak and depressing place.

I disagree, I thought it was a really smart and enjoyable film.

Absolutely, Paddington 2's the most joyous, lovely film I’ve seen in a long time.

The suggestion that because Sean’s close to turning 40 he no longer understands complicated tv shows is unbelievably patronising.

I agree, the only thing which initially confused was the post credits sequence, but now that it’s been explained by the writers it’s not complicated at all.
