I’m not really counting on impeachment. I think it’s much more likely that the GOP will either negotiate for Trump’s resignation, or his cabinet will enact Section 4 of the 25th Amendment.

It’s funny how homophobia seems to be much easier to stamp out than racism. I guess it’s in large part because white people often have a family member who comes out as LGBT+, and we all know conservatives only start caring about other people when it might affect them or someone close to them.

Cuz it’s basically the thermonuclear option. If he pardons himself, either the Congress has to impeach him for abuse of power (which they can technically do) or we’re fucking done as a republic.

There won’t be a functioning legislative system left to impeach him if he makes it to a second term.
