SIRENS FOREVER

Fairy? What in funfetti birthday cake pumpkin spice unicorn glitter hell?!

Cute disney fairies versus Sirens is no contest. Faeries of gaelic mythology and the like? Not cutesy at all and fierce as hell. Either way though this is a good contest.

i hope dragons destroy baby yaga for eliminating bisexual icon the babadook

I love Baba Yaga, but dragons are my spirit animals.

My post either got Kinja’d or lost to the ether, but I just wanted to say, got the vote for La Llorona to 50/50 again!

Fun story; I worked with one of Taft’s descendants and I once asked him about the bathtub story. He got really indignant and insisted it wasn’t true. I suggested he update Wikipedia then.

Option the third: Tell that bitch “Peeeeeeeace!” Now your wedding has 29 guests which means one less person to not really remember having spoken to even once the entire night.

I think everyone’s just so proud of what Cardi has accomplished in MAKING herself into an A-lister thru sheer willpower that they’re willing to overlook how awful that song is.

Yes, well – we New Yorkers have to take responsibility for letting Trump out of the Tower. Everybody has their something.

I pledge allegiance to a piece of cloth, and, oh yeah, the country (very specifically a *republic*) for which it’s being a proxy...one nation (with all kinds of states rights that contradict each other), invisible (unless you’re some special kind of southerner), with liberty (as long as you do what doesn’t offend me),

I am white, and when I left “under God” absent from the Pledge in PUBLIC school, I was sent to the Principal’s office. I was told I had to mouth the words or spend the mornings pre-class in the school’s basement.

So, Trump is in there now so they think they can come along and snatch our children?

My first thought on this was isn’t this illegal. I feel like growing up lots of kids sat through the pledge for religious reasons and no one batted an eye.

The family or the boy in particular may be religious, especially with the answer about God and family. Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t say the pledge and I believe that’s true of some other religious groups such as Quakers (Society of Friends). This may be more of a faith issue than politics à la Kaepernick.

The pledge of allegiance is so bizarre if you take 2 minutes to actually think about it.

Stoney Chaney, civil rights fighter, attacked for exercising his first amendment right.

People who demand respect or obedience to symbols or the rote chanting of words don’t really understand the whole point of the American Revolution. This is a brave little boy exercising his rights as as an American.

Would that it were so. But wait—how would the credit agencies make any money selling all your personal data then?
