I don’t think it is. It feels about like toner does on my skin, which is normally very dry but oily in my T zone. I have really sensitive skin that gets really easily burned by products (which is why I can no longer use the Clinique facial care system...it literally burns my skin). Witch hazel feels really soothing…

So instead of toner, I actually started using witch hazel...and it works GREAT! I mean, it still gives me that wonderful clean feeling that toner does, but it’s cheaper and it doesn’t make my mother give me the “you’re hurting your skin” lecture.
