How about Hard Drives? I bought 2TB last March and the same precise drive is considerably expensive right now - maybe I just lucked out last March?
Is switching to the Timeline mandatory? If I don't enable it now, is Facebook going to surprise me with it when I login sometime in the future?

I use Dropbox for two things: my KeePass databases and as a way of transferring all of my photos from my phone to my desktop quickly and wirelessly.
I agree - I had to do a complete reinstall of 11.10 (Unity) after playing too much with CompizConfig. It was somewhat my own fault as there were plenty of warnings out there, and if I'd done enough digging I probably could have found a way to solve my problems without reinstalling. But regardless, my 11.10 system is…

I don't have Ghostery installed at all. But that certainly doesn't mean that it wasn't an issue and I'm glad you brought it to the attention of their…
Wow - rightfully so. Thank you.
I too was offended by Dropbox's security and privacy concerns so last week I installed SpiderOak and Wuala on my Ubuntu system (And a big hint: anyone considering either should search for promo codes on both when signing up).
Very nice article and well stated about the Graphics Driver Updates.
Can you use Google Talk with InstantBird securely? The FAQ didn't say, and the Add-ons page is "Over capacity!"
Something else you may want to add to the mix is "Envaulted." For simply using my normal card as I always do, I get 1% back on everything.
Just wondering, using this method, in general, which codec do people generally use and why? h.264 (x264)? MPEG-4 (FFmpeg)?
