Considering there is precedent for successful consoles separate from exclusives, if they choose to read it the way you describe, let their denial do what it must.

No, and I make that point a little further down in this same thread. I have zero intention of buying Nintendo’s limited, lazy hardware. So, by me going out and only buying the game, they are getting more money from me than they otherwise would have.
