Define “American” car. The only Japanese thing on a Pilot is the badge - the rest was designed and built in the USA.

You’re making me homesick. Every once in a while, my mom will bring some frozen half-baked Imo’s pizzas or a few bags of toasted ravioli when she flies out. She gets weird looks in security but they understand after she explains why half of her carry-on luggage is frozen toasted ravioli.

I hope there was some sort of reverse lockout! I’d be terrified to drive this thing coming from my 6MT Accord - it would be second nature to try to move up to 6th once this (finally, maybe) got up to highway cruising speeds.

Radial engines, most commonly used in aircraft, always have an odd number of cylinders. I recently stumbled upon someone that took a 7-cylinder engine and dropped it in an old truck. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to find a 9-cylinder option.

Oh man, the first 3 generations of the Riviera were awesome looking cars. GM really had some great cars from the mid 60's through the mid 70's. While not at cool as what came before, I distinctly remember the early 80's Monte Carlo that my mom had when I was little - grey with a red interior. We’d stick to the vinyl

And the seniors usually had gold/tan ones so those were easily differentiable.

“What’s up motherfuckers?”

So it’s like driving a dark-colored Explorer nowadays? I hate those things with a passion because it’s one of the default choices for middle class families in my area with 1+ children - at least the Crown Vic was only driven by cops and old people!

Well, a post-scarcity society would hopefully be less reliant on antivirus and firewall applications due to a lack of belligerent actors in their society creating worms, viruses, etc. That said, the Enterprise happens to meet up with a different group of technologically advanced assholes who break their shit every few

That reminds me of part an old Woody Allen bit:

Personally, I think the F7F Tigercat would be better, but the Corsair is probably more well-known.

Pretty much. See also the minimally named Transporter series, in which he drives a car in addition to fighting bad guys. Or the Expendables, aka “Jason Statham & Friends Fight Bad Guys”.

Would anyone care to explain the plot of the movie to me?
—Uh, its Top Gun. Tom Cruise + Fighters

Was the Legend also a legend?
