I’m 100% on board with this assessment - if the Miata is the modern incarnation of the English roadster, how do people not realize that the Z3 coupe is the modern MGB GT? Just look at it!

if you’ve ever looked at an M shoe and thought, hey, that looks like a bunch of engineers hacked it together in a basement
Way back in ‘09 I traded in my v6 Mustang for a h4 Outback - the difference was immediately noticeable when I went to merge into highway traffic on the way home from the delaer. I was used to just punching it in the Mustang and not having a problem but quickly realized that I needed to think much further ahead in the…
When I was looking to replace my ‘09 Outback, I test drove a new one and came away with a similar impression: it was definitely better in many ways than my old one, but I after almost 8 years in the old-school one, I didn’t want something that was as boring to drive. I can see that it would be an excellent road trip…
cars.com is showing 28 from $33k to $35k in my area. Sure, it’s not under $30k, but it’s not too bad. I’d bet it’s easier to get a deal from Nissan - and honestly I think the Frontier is more comfortable than the Tacoma.
You can still get a manual v6 Tacoma.
This is the only non-Miata answer to this question, right? If you can find one under $10k...
I do too, and thanks to you I spent a few minutes looking for one. There are none listed on cars.com, but there are a few Legend coupes...
But they have a cute pink mustache as their logo! Just look at that and stop worrying about all the money and social responsibility stuff.
Back when the current generation Ridgeline was about to come out, I called up a sales guy at the local Honda dealer and he said “Yes, we’re going to get some soon. Why don’t you come in, put down a $500 deposit, and we’ll talk?” Needless to say I didn’t head on down to that dealer, but worked a deal at a different…
The bed does seem rather shallow - that yellow-lidded tote is even with the rails. I think even the current Rideline (which gets knocked for its shallow bed) has a couple inches on this.
My daughter wants my “shick stift” Accord when she starts driving, except she wants me to paint it purple and “put a big wing on the back.” I’m going to try my hardest to fulfill this.
I still don’t think the 3000GT VR-4 was the best example of 1990s Japanese sports car, but I don’t dismiss it as I once did.
I think a brown interior would have looked better with green.
My first thought was “So, this car has slightly less HP than a new Camry?”
I think I’m done with the internet for today - after seeing this, everything else is going to be a disappointment.
At least they’re not using a CVT!
Did this car come in that horrid teal/turquoise that Pontiac and Honda used (among others)?
Same. This, an early 90's Pontiac Grand Prix coupe, and a Prelude (any generation).
There wasn’t an AWD option for this model.
