Well, it all comes down to whoever picks the options on the board. For all we know, the only choices could be “MOAR TRUCKS!!!”, “MOAR JEEPS!!!”, or “BIGGER ENGINES IN THE CHALLENGER”.
Does a boat like that really weigh that much? I’m being serious - I have no concept of how much boats weigh.
(Update: A representative from Fiat Chrysler told Jalopnik the 35,000 figure was rounded, and that the features will work with up to 35,100 pounds behind the truck.)
Also, in a crash I’d much rather be in the new one than the ‘93...
Those are the only GM cars I like - I’d love the mid-70's Eldorado. Sure, the engine sucked, but the driver’s seat looks more comfortable than my grandpa’s recliner! Also, my dream car is a late 60's Toronado, Eldorado, or Riviera.
There has to be a way to normalize these results - even something like # of sales vs. total number in its category. The R8/NSX is never going to be a volume vehicle so it’s silly to have them on a list like this.
Under the hood, there’s still a 12-volt battery to power the vehicle’s onboard electronics
I’d temper the commentary on the 3rd item in your list, but yeah...
When it comes to purchasing a car either new or used if I’m planning on putting higher than normal mileage on the car (20,000-25,000 annual) should I plan on paying extra on top of monthly payments to help stay less underwater on the loan?
So, what’s the big deal with airline food?
I always have to get my oil changed on schedule so my neighbors don’t think I’m a pedophile.
So the other day I didn’t go back upstairs to grab my watch because my foot hurt, and this guy is lapping the ‘ring with his wheelchair strapped to the top of his GT...
I’m also wondering whether they’re damaging or excessively stressing the Tesla’s unibody. The model X is rated for 4980 pounds and that truck slightly exceeds that. Without the truck in park, it’s probably OK but there’s a lot more force required to move it in this situation.
Since it’s rotating like that, I imagine it’s at least less than lifting one end or side. If the center of gravity is close to the axis of rotation, it may not be too bad.
Don’t worry, there’s expensive engineering and certification involved in adding hinged tops to existing airliners. You’ll be fine until the next generation jets arrive.
“Bro 911”? Is nothing sacred? Yeah, not surprised. Has anyone seen a diesel Cayenne rolling coal, too? It’s only a matter of time...
I watched the GIF loop about 20 times and had to go back and look to see that it said Belga and not Beluga.
knows when something looks new and fancy so she can ask why we don’t have it
I don’t want a car without auto climate control - it’s great for ramping up the fan speed after the engine warms up when it’s cold out, or maintaining comfortable temps during a long distance trip. It drives me nuts when my wife starts messing with the fan/direction buttons.
