I was certainly surprised when I picked up a new Ridgeline that I’m getting the same mpg as my old ‘09 Outback (H4 w/ 4AT), and the Honda is ~1000 pounds heavier, has 130 more HP, and is taller! The Ridgeline gets decent numbers for a midsize truck/SUV, but the Outback got some pretty terrible numbers for a midsize…
