So far, the goal suggestions my students have given me have been in line with what I wanted for them... except for one. Lorenz was mostly a magic user when he was a Noble class so I reclassed him to Monk, in spite of the fact that he was also extremely proficient with his lance. He then asked me to change his goals to…
I initially was doing that (i.e., tailoring my answers to what I knew the student would like) but then I found myself not liking it. I’m still on month 2 so since I’m still early on I decided on a personality for my Byleth (pragmatic mercenary who’s ignorant of the world and doesn’t trust the church of seiros) and…
Yeah, I was browsing through her store earlier with hope in my heart but didnt find anything. :(
I ask this question in every single one of these retrospectives:
I remember spending a lot of time when I first got my Switch trying to figure out how to change the background image/theme and not understanding why it was so hard for me to figure out how to do this thing that should be really simple..........
I was wondering this same thing. I had completely forgotten about Mario Party.
Permadeath ON and resetting the moment a unit dies is the way to go. lol
This was me with Cowboy Bebop. I finally sat down to watch it a couple months back after hearing so many people praise it and 3 episodes in I could NOT bear the thought of watching another episode. I had no desire to go back to it again and just stopped.
I was wondering the same thing. How deeply is the plot impacted by the house choice and the students you recruit?
Barrett is looking ZADDY!!
On the tail end of my XCOM 2: WotC Ironman Commander play through. All the Chosen are dead, I finally have enough supplies to buy whatever I want, and my soldiers are powerful enough that triggering multiple pods don’t freak me out or make me panic so it should be smooth sailing from now until the end.
I made the mistake of trying to play these games for the first time recently after finishing Horizon Zero Dawn.... and HATED the physics of it. After Aloy’s tight and responsive controls, characters in Infamous felt like gumby dolls - flailing all over the place and feeling like they had no weight. I stopped playing…
omg you just sent me back. i LOVED that game! I have to add it to my SNES Mini.
I thought he was fine until he learned his heritage. The following couple of hours where he thinks hes invincible he was insufferable. I ADORED him up until that point. I thought he was fucking adorable.... but after his personality change, I couldnt wait for the plot to cut him down to size.
I usually can only play one console game plus one portable game at a time so I cant even imagine playing six different games at once, let alone JRPGs.
This Kickstarter was just for the art book, which includes lore about Tikor, though it promises an upcoming tabletop RPG and has a publicly available world bible for the curious.
The same thing happened to me this past weekend but my game is XCOM2: War of the Chosen. It’s 11pm i should go to bed but lets do one more mission and, well, this research is about to be done so let me pass some days here and then I’ll go to... OH! a mission to push back the Avatar Project! Gotta do that...
Yes, I realized my capitalization error when reading thru some of the other comments. oops.
“God help me if I don’t lose my shit every time I nail a combo and hear its gnashing butt rock wailings punctuate my carnage.”
