This opening has severe “Friend Like Me” vibes.

I was in love with BD-1 from the moment he appeared. I have a soft spot for most of Star Wars’ Droid companions but BD is on my top 3. He is amazing.

Thats why I turned on auto level up for weapons in FFVIIR REAL quick. I got tired of that slow ass loading.

All I want to know, Stephen, is who’s the next JRPG expert?!!! :)

Funny you say that cuz in the middle of my second playthrough it dawned on me that this would probably be a different experience if I only played with the core group of students instead of recruiting everybody.

I meant to play all three house routes back to back and was severely burned out with the game by the middle of my second. I cannot imagine doing all three (not counting the Church route) back to back.

I platinum’d the game two weeks ago and I remember feeling very sad that I ran out of reasons/goals to keep playing the game.

It always felt so good to evade their 1-hit kill attacks and leave them pressured, ready to take a focused whopping!

I adored how goofy Barret was throughout the entire Shinra infiltration section. Like you, I was not a fan of him in the beginning (more specifically his voice acting) but he totally grew on me, to the point that I was looking forward to him being part of my team again. His interactions with Red XIII also remain the

I KEPT LOOKING FOR YOU IN THE COMMENTS OF ALL THE FF7R ARTICLES!

Ive been waiting for your take on the game lol

Nathan, dont you know? XCOM wouldn’t be XCOM if it didn’t have constant game crashes.

I was expecting it to sound worse than it did. I didn’t mind it. From seeing the “accent” in the text before watching the video, I was expecting her voice to also be really high pitched so Im glad to see she has a regular tone of voice. it makes the baby voice thing more bearable to me.

You have to go get the download codes from your Square Enix account online. They didn’t come in the physical media.

For all the squatting these dudes do, they were rather flat in the back. The least Square couldve done was give them nice bootylicious cakes.

I replayed the Midgar section of the original FFVII right before I got my hands on the Remake so I was expecting the Avalanche deaths but they still hit me. Hard. The last time I cried in a videogame was during Last of Us.

I personally love when a game forces me to use specific parties so I loved that throughout the entire Remake you don’t really have a say who’s in your party.

I loved Aeriths personality. In battle, however, I had to make sure to keep attention away from her because she’s rather fragile. I do like that she gets abilities that are really useful once you figure them out. Like a weapon ability called Lustrous Shield that she gets later in the game. Its really useful in one of

I both want and don’t want more materia like auto-cure. Mainly because I already spend so much time deciding my materia setup. Like someone else said, I’d prefer some sort of FFXII-like gambit like system. Doesn’t have to be THAT deep. Just something that doesn’t take a materia slot away from me lol

I never used that materia because, from the description, I didnt quite understand how it is supposed to be used. Same with the Synergy materia.
