You are bad at reading in context.

Damn, this is a fantastic piece, Stassa. Swooning to see Benjamin, Sontag and Eco cited (and linked!) on Jezebel. Actually did an early reading scan for Adorno to see if you’d complete the tetralogy. Just so impressive and should be compulsory reading for anyone discussing fascism on Jez.

Entirely anecdotal, but once, years ago, I was at Harrods (London) - I wasn’t there doing anything fancy; just buying some good tea - and a huge limo parked outside and about seven women in full burkas came in through the doors with two enormous body guards. I was very into photography at this point and found this

lol dick holster

Generally speaking that answer to that is consistency and being a good member of the community, along with getting the attention of one of the staff members. Hachi has been around for ages and it’s a surprise to see her grey, but yes, it’s not difficult to piss someone off. Usually it’s Kara to be 100% honest, but

For sure. I mean she seems nice and she seems able to act. Ironically enough I had a childhood a bit overshadowed by my parents, so I get it on a much, much smaller scale, and in my case part of that was also an *incredibly* beautiful mother, so I have nothing but sympathy.

I’m not trying to antagonise you here, but if you broke up, why would he do anything other than move out and take his stuff? Were you expecting him to support you after the break up? Sorry, that just seems really weird to me.

I agree you are great and also curious about you being in the grey. Do you know who unfollowed you? I guess it doesn’t matter but why not send an email and ask to be ungreyed again? You’re clearly a popular poster and you seem very community minded. Your best bet at a follow is an email directly to Kate Dries and just

I see other people have said this but 100% the biggest thing is do NOT speak too loudly. Just speak quietly and nobody will care either way. I spent the majority of my life in Europe (now in Australia) and the only problem anyone ever had with Americans was the volume.

IME my Muslim co-workers/ students have been amazing about this kind of gentle and gracious explanation and accomodation. Yes, it shouldn’t be their responsibility but I have never met a group (and I’m so loathe to generalise but honestly 100% of my experience here) less inclined to the “it’s not my job to teach you

I think all they are actually doing here is saying “yes, on the first one we didn’t know each other and it was awkward af and everyone noticed. But now we’ve known each other for 3 years it’s not AS awkward so please do see the movie it won’t be as teeth gnashingly awkies this time! Promise!”

OT but a friend of mine once admitted to me that one pair of jeans she had chafed her in a certain way so that when she was sitting down, she could just kind of shift slightly in her seat and make herself come. And she wore them ALL THE TIEM and after two lunches of me staring at her suspiciously while I was talking

28??? No kidding. I still think of her at like 22/23.

Definitely sketchy. And the bumfluff tache? Just say no.

Hey, I said she was interesting looking. That’s all she’s getting from me but there’s no hate here. It must suck to have Demi as a mom and get your Dad’s face.

I found her so grating in that video it made me upset and angry. I won’t lie. I now hate her fucking guts.

In Australia this is known as “draining the goon bag”.

What? Like yeah Rumer Willis is interesting looking *cough* but Jerry Hall’s kid and Steve Tyler’s kid(s) are gorgeous. Maybe not actual model types - too short or whatever - but they are beautiful.

Why would you do that *after* they capitulated to the boycott?
