real talk: i laughed so hard my dog jumped out of my lap.
yes, you’ve described the LITERAL meaning of the songs. i was describing the METAPHORICAL meanings. (ie: Paula’s only interested in that guy because he was charming and paid attention to her, which her husband hadn’t been doing. Rebecca is throwing herself at a guy to try and make herself feel better because the man…
bahahahaha as a busty Jewess myself, as soon as Rebecca pulled out that tiny, lacy bra i shook my head and scoffed, “pfffffft, absolutely not, there’s not a chance in hell that thing is anywhere near the correct size.” i actually stood up and CLAPPED AT THE TV when she told him it was like two delicate pieces of…
His Status Is Preferred and Strip It All Away are essentially the same song: they have identical melodies (sing both of those titles in your head) and they have the same motivation. (Paula and Rebecca are both singing a song about sleeping with a man for the wrong reasons.)
also: WHERE IS TRENT AND WHAT IS HE PLOTTING????????
err, no, the actual French word for “revenge” is vengeance. (which she pronounces, kinda badly, then says the line about cheese and preferring ruh-vunge.)

“well, i guess it’s time to go crush someone’s dreams!”
Gordon didn’t die alone, he died happy. last week he burned all of his journals and left his illness up to fate. this week, Scoot’s line-reading of, “yeah, i know it is!” is probably the most genuinely at peace we’ve seen Gordon all series.
this episode was paiiinfully bad. so stale, so unfunny, so excruciatingly unnecessary in 2017.
it is criminal that we are not getting recaps for Speechless (and The Mick!) here at AVC while anchors like Modern Family still merit episodic analysis. i truly don’t get it. why hand out B-’s and C’s every week to this dead horse when we can be talking about the awesome family dynamics of Speechless or the ABSURD…
“i did night work so long it turned into day.”
lol Stephen Falk tweeted that they weren’t able to license any real hard-core porn so they had to go out and film their own. im ded.
