(lol, i do actually know when she arrives, but didn’t wanna veer into spoiler territory.)

[extremely Milton voice]

my brain’s go-to neural pathways were permanently altered after watching Trial & Error:

so, i guess the dude’s name was Nico, not Rico? see Kinja, you coulda just let me edit my mistake LIKE A GROWNUP, instead of having to post a whole silly update. >_<

man, Issa’s cranky incredulous “NO!” when Rico asked if she still wanted to go to dinner was pitch-perfect. 😗👌🏼

boy knife means penis.”

honestly, that is just about the most sadistic thing i’ve ever heard. DEAR GOD WHY?

just installed this on Chrome and it does make things quite a bit easier to read. (though we’re probably SOL as far as mobile commenting goes.)

Joanie’s 1994 teenage ennui will never not be hilarious; that delivery of “did she call it her special salad?” had me rolling.

besides "conspicuously being on his phone" (which is grounds for a contempt charge in some courts) the attorneys were also asking potential jurors if they felt any ill-will towards the LAPD. i am almost positive that Lawrence being a young black man in LA would make him a bad choice for any prosecutor's ideal jury.

it was so perfectly timed & edited that just as my eyes bugged out and i whispered, "damn!" under my breath—BAM! car accident. the shock i felt was the exact same shock the character felt. perfect karmic payoff.

like i've said in other comments, i find it interesting that we don't really know WHAT their deal is for sure, bc we've only heard it from Dro. looking forward to his wife's return so we can all get a bit more context.

i think it's interesting that we don't REALLY know anything for sure, bc all we've heard is Dro's perspective. i hope his wife reappears soon so we can hear her interpretation of things. (i was just speaking generally about open/poly relationships & how they can all vary.)

i think it's more due to the school's internal culture of distrust, skepticism, and segregation among racial groups than strictly a language barrier. (although getting *someone* on the We Got Y'all team who speaks Spanish would definitely be an asset….in LOS ANGELES. maybe Issa can take some lessons from Molly next

except poly people experience emotional attachments with more than one partner all the time. it really just depends on the boundaries of the individual relationship.

i laughed SO HARD when Issa rear-ended that guy after seeing the (very impressive) dick pick text. BEEN THERE, GIRL.

yep. a very interesting point. this is kinda what i was getting at - or trying to, anyway (see below.)

i agree with all of this. the only thing i took issue with was with you referring to her specifically as a white girl when she *clearly* is not. (also, her character is credited as "Miko" so…?)

i know people in all different kinds of open marriages: some only play w/new people together, some play solo but don't discuss it, some play solo and divulge every dirty detail as an act of bonding. all relationships are different so it stands to reason that all open relationships are different too. the ones i've seen

it isn't the "not mentioning her Asian-ness" that is incorrect, it's CALLING HER A WHITE GIRL WHEN SHE IS NOT A WHITE GIRL. i would bet all the dollars in my bank account that the actress in question would be extremely offended if you dismissed her identity by calling her white simply bc you don't know how to discuss
