it was so perfectly timed & edited that just as my eyes bugged out and i whispered, "damn!" under my breath—BAM! car accident. the shock i felt was the exact same shock the character felt. perfect karmic payoff.

like i've said in other comments, i find it interesting that we don't really know WHAT their deal is for sure, bc we've only heard it from Dro. looking forward to his wife's return so we can all get a bit more context.

i think it's more due to the school's internal culture of distrust, skepticism, and segregation among racial groups than strictly a language barrier. (although getting *someone* on the We Got Y'all team who speaks Spanish would definitely be an asset….in LOS ANGELES. maybe Issa can take some lessons from Molly next…

it isn't the "not mentioning her Asian-ness" that is incorrect, it's CALLING HER A WHITE GIRL WHEN SHE IS NOT A WHITE GIRL. i would bet all the dollars in my bank account that the actress in question would be extremely offended if you dismissed her identity by calling her white simply bc you don't know how to discuss…
