Good call. A proper widebody would be SO much more aesthetically appealing than the thin fender flares. It has been done successfully many, many times over the years, both from OEM and from the aftermarket.

It’s loosely enforced and for the most part (as with most things in Germany) everyone just adheres to the restriction. There’s a small rectangular sign notifying you that you’re entering a restricted area and you’re expected to not drive past it without the correct sticker. If you park on the street in the city with…
I saw a T/log just this morning. Im not one to brag but it was pretty impressive.
Free trade is a “classic liberal” concept, otherwise accepted as modern-day libertarianism (small govt, social liberalism). Traditional republicans from back in the days of Andrew Carnegie and the like were strong protectionists, and did so at the behest of those American industrialists who wanted to protect their…
In fairness, protectionism is not historically a right wing thing, or at least the intellectual branch of conservatives has been a stronger proponent of free trade than most others in politics.
Not everyone keeps additional keys with their car keys. My house keys are separate and I take the keys for the car I happen to be driving that day. No need to be the keymaster, unless perhaps I’m going to visit the gatekeeper.
Mid-90's diesels are already banned from German city centers. You need a Green Class 4 “Umweltplakette” to drive in nearly all city centers in Germany today, and you’ll only have that stuck to your window if your diesel is a 2006 or newer. (Older cars could be retrofitted with emissions equipment, but it’s not…
It wasn’t just the guy in the white shirt, there were two guys that came back, and they both came back from seemingly the same pillars that the trucks came from, so I’m guessing they were both responsible for opening the doors.
But, damn, let’s give some applause for all the guys who immediately dropped everything and…
6 guys put on gear and get two trucks out of the garage in less than 30 seconds. That is fucking impressive.
It was one of the truck commercials, yeah, but he didn’t actually talk in any of the part that they aired. He laughs at one point, that’s it.
This lady will soon be on a Chevrolet “Real People” commercial.
Yeah? How many you see still driving around?
Dunno. That original CVCC Honda was amazingly efficient.... All these car lines have gotten porkier over the decades, picking up weight and extra dimensions. Engines are getting better at about the same rate-- but I’m not sure how much “aero” is involved with all the design elements.
I’d buy it for the green crushed velour upholstery alone.
Just so we’re all on the same page, everyone does realize the end of his Colonel Sanders point is, “...and he never got backlash because he serves fried chicken”, right?
I’d love to have this not only for what it is, but for the color it wears.
Damn. This is the kind of car you buy to rent out to movies looking for period correct automobiles. It’s like a time capsule.
Why do chicken coupes only have 2 doors? Because if there were 4, it would be a chicken sedan
And don’t forget the chicken coupe.
I’m not saying the previous owner was a bad person, but they were a terrible owner. Who lets the brakes and seatbelts get to that state?!? Unreal.
