Novelty in military endeavors is often considered a success regardless of actual impact. For instance, we tend to remember that Hannibal took elephants across the Alps , (and that it was badass) even though most of his men and elephants died in the cold and steep mountains.

Ha! You seem to be confused, you poor thing.

I was curious and looked up the tax rate for this car (which I think is a 2002 Honda Accord with 1.8l motor). The UK tax table seems to indicate it costs £280 annually for the road tax, plus the £55 MOT test. Average insurance rates actually don’t sound that bad, compared to the US. A recent article in the Guardian

I think she is just wearing weird inappropriate footwear for the situation.

I too am in that club, and familiar with loud, (though efficient) poor handling, poor braking, slow diesel vehicles all of vintage pre-1985. I have strange taste.

The neo-Nazis and racist assholes are free to find a hosting service that matches their so called “values”. I agree that CEOs should not arbitrarily terminate hosting of dissenting views, and Prince walked this line well by explaining that it is not setting a general precedent.

If you ever are around Oregon, there is a museum called the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum. They have regular events where you can ride around, as well as day classes where you can learn to drive a Model T and other cars throughout the early years of motoring. I took the class and it was a super fun

This is great, and generally true -. And the only one of his children that does not have an immigrant mother, Tiffany, is the only one that he has rejected (as is somewhat sane).

I was coming here to make sure this was posted. Absolutely DSOTM.

So in your fictional scenario, someone would hit and run, potentially killing someone, and then rush to the bedside of their dying relative?

Also, it looks like in order for him to properly use it (from the passenger’s seat even!) he is sort of bracing one part of his hand on the side of the screen for stability in manipulating the slider. Good luck operating these controls on any sort of bumpy road...

Really, you are disappointed because this clever bit of filming that someone put 15 days into is also being used to get people interested in how engines work? :/ It seems like that aligns perfectly with the content!

Come on, give us a hint. What continent was it manufactured in?

As much as I appreciate their turbos ( I have a couple cars with KKK K24 and K03), I would never wear a shirt with their logo.

Must be the nitrous oxide poppers...

One time there was a legit fire (not just a fire alarm) at my work, and so indeed I got to go home and had a short day. Luckily it was minor damage.

There is value, however, in learning the formal version of the language used by commercial and academic institutions. Testing does show the aptitude to adapt and learn structured concepts, not just those familar to you in casual settings.

Agreed, and overall, it seems that most new cars I have been in recently have very good integrated sound, other than the need for a bit more clean bass in the trunk. It is not like the old days, where sound systems were kind of an afterthought...now they can model the acoustics and plan around them. Seems like it

At least decals are (relatively) easy to remove and doesn’t totally ruin the driveability of the car. I never got the decal thing, as really it was mostly advertising to others how lucrative it would be to steal your car.
