What about showing up for work that day but basically not doing work? That might be even more impactful.

I lump those tasks with the other daily drudgery I perform to “keep” house and refer to them as being a Personal Analog Assistant. “Tell me what I like at this restaurant.” “What’s Mike’s wife’s name again?” “Where’s the baking soda?”

I’m not going to take my kid to or from school that day in addition to not doing any housework. I will also treat it as a buy nothing day. I would LOVE to see whole school districts have to close for the day.
