You wouldn’t know if there were dogs/cats on your flights in most cases unless they bark/meow. They look just like regular carry-on in most cases the soft carriers are really just bags. If you have a severe allergy, you should never forget that enclosed space with people you don’t know = potential exposure to allergen…
