The heater core was getting air bound. Changing RPM’s agitated the bubble out. Filling the cooling system with a vacuum adapter would have solved it.

Nope. You can file a mileage discrepancy, make a note on the door jamb, put a Dymo label on the dashboard.... But you can’t lower the reading.

There’s a legitimate reason to have a tool to UPdate the mileage, perhaps when replacing a component, but never to roll it back. And I know in MA and FL, the existence of a tool to reduce mileage is illegal.
