“That’s My Dog” is the only episode of Six Feet Under I've seen because it was on when I was staying at a friend's house. I had heard good things about the show but after seeing this one I never made an effort to see the whole series. Bad timing on my part - my loss.

The sculpture is by Jason deCaires Taylor and is located in Grenada. While its look and location might lead the viewer to interpret it the way you've suggested (I can see it that way too), that wasn't the artist's intention: http://www.underwatersculpt…

In Heart of Darkness, Kurtz's powerful voice was the most important thing about him. It's such a contrast to Brando's mumbling in Apocalypse Now.

About ten years ago I saw an art show at the Art Institute of Chicago and one of the pieces was a porno made by students. It was dumb.

Am I crazy or was the current, neon rollerblader version introduced in the late 90s? Way too late for all the fads it referenced but way too early to be retro kitsch, until they just stuck with it long enough that it seems like it's been around since the late 80s/early 90s.

I laughed at "Were you familiar with [The Cosby Show] going in?" Who grew up in the 80s and didn't watch Cosby?
