A lot of municipal water systems actually have more stringent purity standards than bottled water companies.

While I agree that the original title is better than Money Heist, and while “Peaky Blinders” sounds a bit silly (although that’s the name of the actual street gang the show is loosely based on), they’re both great shows and you’re missing out.
“Money Heist” is such a bullshit generic title. It’s like calling a western “Cowboy Adventure.”
It’s like the cute little robots from Batteries Not Included had a three-way with the probe droid from The Empire Strikes Back and the high-pitched susurrating buzz of a biblical swarm of locusts sent to warn us of the impending Apocalypse.
Or binge watch the entire series of Over the Garden Wall. Only 10 episodes at 11 minutes each, it adds up to the length of a movie. Super autumn-y feel to this show.
No, you’re not the only one. I never see any Simpsons memes from episodes I don’t recognize, either. I’m starting to wonder if there actually are any seasons past the 90's, or if everyone just collectively stopped watching and the just told us they were still making them.
All of these are from the early-to-mid ‘90's. I don’t think I’ve seen any episode of the Simpsons past season 10. All the Simpsons memes I see seem to be from those years, I never see any that I don’t recognize that must be from later seasons. One of these days I’ll use my Disney+ subscription to actually sit down and…
I dunno, man... this looks a little hokey. Like fan-made with cosplayers. I’m hoping the actual show is a little more serious.
I have enough to wonder about my plain old digital scale. I think if the weight it reads isn’t within a certain threshold of difference from the last weight it read, it just displays the last weight. I’ve taken to holding my laundry basket or something else with significant weight before weighing just myself to make…
Flying Toasters or GTFO.
Me when I finished watching The Amazing World of Gumball and found out there would be no more on Cartoon Network:
Which, looking back now, makes them a really impractical mode of transportation to orchestrate a world-wide diamond smuggling operation, something that did not occur to me as a child. Especially when they’re piloted by children with absolutely no ballooning experience.
The character is described in the book as “as fair as a European,” so it’s not exactly what I would call brownface. I think the term is a bit problematic considering that Indians come in a fairly wide range of skin tones. “Ethnicity-swapping,” maybe? I don’t know. According to IMDB, she’s played in the series by…
Ugh. More bullshit with hot-air balloons. They did not use hot-air balloons in the book. It was trains and steamships, and briefly, elephants, all the way.
People who believe in the “rest day after every workout day” thingobviously never worked a manual labor job. You don’t get to take a rest day between every day of laying bricks or digging ditches.
It was like that because it all had to be fitted in a 2-hour slot. Spread over 10 episodes or so they could have written something better, or presented it in a better way. It would have given more time for world building. Instead they had to cram it all in with exposition dumps between action sequences or just let the…
