Southerner here. Yes, very much of it is in the south sadly. There are huge gatherings and no masks. Stores and bars are open. It is all very worrying.

Yeah, I think the costumes look amazing but I am less impressed with professional cosplay these days. When you have a large budget, access to high end tools(like 3D printers) and a team of artist working with you it just doesn’t seem all that impressive.

I’m with you. I enjoyed the stormtrooper as well. However these have gone so professionally into costume making and modeling that there is little connection to the average fan produced look.  I miss the creativity of turning Hobby Lobby goods into a costume.
