Thanks for that Esquire link. That story didn't get enough press denunciation yesterday. Trump is actively goading his least stable followers to take up arms; encouraging violence in his defense. This is a chilling development and the Esquire piece is a must read.

On the day of the shooting, the Acting President posted a link to Breitbart (where the shooting was celebrated). Also on the day of the shooting, the Acting President suggested that his political opponents can expect to be attacked violently by his supporters.

I’m concerned Trump doesn’t worry about Democrats using this kind of authority in the future because he doesn’t expect there to be any other president but him (and then his offspring).

The GOP is planning a long game, cut this, support coups, cut that, and then 10 years from now when we’re looking at another migrant caravan, climate change (worse than we have it), shit markets and a national healt crisis.

Concurrently, the DNC announced that the primary debates would be held at 2 p.m., allowing the candidates time to take a brief post lunch nap while still being able to hit the blue plate special at the local diner, leaving enough time to get home to catch Jeopardy and be in bed by a sensible 8:30.
