I total agree with you. If Bottas beats or comes in 2nd to Lewis they will keep him. If its like a Vettel/ Webber thing where Webber comes a distant 3rd in points or worst they will trade him for Alonso/Vettel.

if McLaren Honda bombs this year, Ferrari gets defeated by Red Bull and Mercedes and Valerie Bottas doesn’t amount to much “compared to Lewis”.......it will be a VERY interesting end of the year when Vettel and Alonso contract comes up.
