Yeah, this is actually a pretty decent FOC. There haven't been many of those lately. I'll admit I was worried it might be preachy, given the subject matter, but I didn't mind it at all. I don't think the writer is trying to say those companies are in any way evil for not having these shows. It's just arguing that they…
I dunno, I think he's white conservatives' favorite black guy. Remember the Brad Paisley song?
Holy shit, I just saw a commercial claiming Alice Through the Looking Glass is "a modern day classic." That's some strange hyperbole.
I've never even heard of Sense8. I had no idea the Wachowskis had a show. Is it any good? I love some of their stuff, but Jupiter Ascending was horrible.
That was a predictably great read. Maria is the goddamn best.
I look forward to the Hotel Hell spinoff, Hotel Hell Damn Fart.
That ad is amazing. I remember seeing it on Cartoon Network (not [adult swim]) and being shocked.
I can solve this documentary's debate with one brief answer.
I wasn't aware of the encores. Thanks!
I hope we're getting a Detour review. Tonight's episode was another A for me. Next week, they're going to a NASCAR race, which combines two of my major interests and therefore makes me extra excited.
I wish I had remembered to record it! I don't think they show repeats. :( I set a series timer from now on.
I hope the Academy and its broadcast team purged the outrage from their systems this year, nominate some more diverse stuff, and actually give us an enjoyable show next year. Almost 100% of Chris Rock's material was about race. (Specifically black people, no other minorities.) He made some good points, but little of…
It's possible to play clean and succeed on @Midnight. In his two appearances, "Weird Al" has a win and a second place finish by keeping it clean, and Emo Phillips always keeps it clean and has won more than once. Tony Hale played a PG-13 game a few weeks ago and, while he was eliminated before his two Veep co-stars,…
Happy Birthday to these people, especially the good Dr. Brule!
Hell yeah, Talladega Nights. One of my favorite comedies of all-time.
I don't even watch Jeopardy and I think Ken Jennings is cool.
The AV Club. This place sucks! I'm going to Breitbart with the real Americans so I can jerk it to Trump/Lyin' Ted slashfic.
I'm the same way. I only play my 3DS these days, and I've put a couple hundred hours into Hyrule Warriors Legends. I'm not even done with it, either.
Fuck yes. With one silly exception (Chrisley Knows Best), I find reality TV to be a scourge upon our society. It infuriates me how seriously some publications take it. Not really AV Club, because they're extremely restrained about it compared to Entertainment Weekly. EW is truly pathetic and has been for years.
