He should still be liable anyways =)
He should still be liable anyways =)
Yea, that is 100% what happened. More like, “hey guys, I took this car from the hotel I valet at, wanna go for a joyride?” or, “you took this from the hotel you valet at? Let’s have some fun!”
If we’re being realistic, there’s an 80% chance he made up the “I got it stolen from me after I stole it” part to not be at fault for the damages.
What? Did this “genius” think that since American Hitler is a bald-faced liar who constantly gets away with it, that the tactic would work for him too?
Andreessen recently published a manifesto about his vision for the future. I don’t know about you, but these days, when I see the word “manifesto,” I immediately think of news stories that begin with, “Neighbors described him as a strange, quiet man, and had often expressed concerns about him” and end with, “Before…
It’s almost as if having easy access to venture capital doesn’t mean you’re a genius or know anything about how the world works.
Thought California Forever was being built in Austin Texas. All those rich Tech Trillionairs who couldn’t afford to pay taxes.
Yet another reason to stay away from Vegas
immediately before and during that event.
I’ve attended F1 races, including Monaco, so there’s no “bucket list” mentality that would get me into Vegas for this race. All I see is obscene price-gouging being implemented. If that floats yer boat, getting reamed over seeing a race where you’ll be cordoned into one section only, fine, do it. But I maintain you’ve…
Yet another reason to stay away from Vegas immediately before and during that event.
I’m starting to develop an early case of Schadenfreude for both Las Vegas and F1 due to the obscenely high prices. Fans are just wallets to vacuum cash from. I do hope it ultimately all goes well, but I would not be surprised if it all turns into a S*!t show. In Sept. the cabbies were griping and the strip was turning…
Just pay your service workers a living wage. Hell, my daughter - age 19 - works as a hostess at a nice restaurant in Vancouver. She makes $20/hr and gets a small cut of the tip-out. Yes, Vancouver is exceedingly expensive to live in. But she and her roommate make it work. Decent wages make a difference.
Wow so if everyone refused to tip businesses would literally sort out the financials overnight and start paying employees fair wages? Or do you think this is just a cash grab and not much of this “surcharge” is going to make it to the workers?
Considering that it was the sickest patients who were the ones going on the vents it also makes sense that they would have a high mortality rate as they were already highly compromised and we had nothing early on that was proven to work for COVID.
last year Tesla sold shy of 1.5 million vehicles total last year, and at least some of those were made in 2021 or earlier. The idea that they would start cranking out 200k units of a single new model is unlikely, the idea they would sell them all is mathematically impossible. It’s also worth noting that a huge chunk…
Yawn. Anyone can talk the talk, what counts is walking the walk.
Grandma’s on fire!
Oh, and just to go back to the ventilator thing for a second. Back in 2020, Musk said he would supply over 1,000 ventilators to California. As you may have guessed, it never happened.
Sure, Elon. Just like when you “made ventilators with Tesla parts”, and ended up sending 1000 BPAP machines that couldn’t be used.
Because when I go to buy a car, arrow-proofing is the first thing I’m asking about. It’s the TruCoating for forays onto the Oregon Trail through Native American lands.
