My son got these on his Passat all-wheel drive, and absolutely loves them. They are fantastic in the snow. Engineering Explained did a video on them and found them to be amazing. They are what I will get for my wife’s car next.

Out of necessity. I couldn’t afford to pay someone to fix my cars, so I learned how to do it. That has led to my recent rebuild of my Audi engine (successfully!) and replacement of an automatic transmission on a Tahoe. Most of the time in my driveway, but recently, in my shop (still no lift).

I’ve replaced one tool at Lowes without any problem.

I had an old Craftsman ratcheting wrench that was not at Lowes (now that Lowes has taken over Craftsman). I looked online and found Craftsman support. Contacted them and they sent me a new wrench for nothing!
