It’s not so much the VR6, but the all wheel drive. I still haven’t saved enough pennies for winter tires, but the all-seasons I have seem to work in this area. With the VR6, you also get all the other premium goodies!

For you ... I highly recommend a CC. I’ve got a 2009, with the VR6 and 4motion (all-wheel drive) and I love it. It’s comfortable, has four doors, and has good acceleration. It had 87k when I bought it not three years ago, and now has 165k, with only one problem in that time.
