I didn't think I outsmarted you, I think you made an assumption. And I still think you've made an assumption because you haven't provided any sources that they're doing it to a lot of people.

Do you have any other sources to suggest this is a government policy and not a one-off failure? I mean, I've heard lots of people saying TSA agents have essentially sexually assaulted/harassed them but nobody claims this is now an official policy of the US government.
As far as I can tell, this has happened once, to a presumably white South African. But sure, make the same assumption Lindy did (that it's now government policy, despite the linked article clearly saying it isn't by quoting government documents) and trhow in the assumption that it's racist, despite the one case so far…
This is quite a well known thing. I always hope it's true for guys wearing backwards baseball caps.
I wonder what she'd say to Nicholas Unless-Jesus-Christ-Had-Died-For-Thee-Thou-Hadst-Been-Damned Barbon.
I've always split the cost and as for setting up dates, I don't think one of us really decided, it was more agreeing on somewhere. *shrugs*
This is a comment every time this topic comes up and it's no less wrong on this occasion. All your system would do is maintain the status quo: men (almost) always do the asking, so under your system, men will (almost) always end up paying.
“We still name our military helicopter gunships after victims of genocide. Nobody bats an eyelash about that: Blackhawk. Apache. And Comanche. If the Luftwaffe named its military helicopters Jew and Gypsy, I suppose people would notice.” - Noam Chomsky.
I wonder if "Santorum" is a more common tag on jezebel or fleshbot.
Didn't he do one a week? That sounds regular to me.
I think Twitter might not be thrilled at the idea of people not using it. That's who the activism is aimed at.
I haven't watched much recent Family Guy but I think it's a bit much to say it relies on those three for the bulk of its humour. Certainly the stuff I remember seeing didn't. Excluding the instances of those three, I think the Simpsons has gone for a Family Guy style of humour, and I don't necessarily mean strictly…
Go facebook. Pleasant surprise in the otherwise never-ending stream of shitty, upsetting news stories.
In the UK I think you can just take it as sick leave (assuming you get paid sick leave). But for graduate jobs you wouldn't need extra days off specially for periods because we tend not to penalise people for getting ill and stuff.
Have you seen a recent episode? Nowadays it's not that ridiculous an accusation.
True. Also, I just checked the definition of "biweekly" and according to google it means "once every two weeks" OR "twice a week". Definitely fucked.
I think you mean "biennial" rather than "biannual". Biannual is twice a year and biennial is once every two years.
It's always nice to get a reminder that people who agree with you politically (feminists in this case) can still be fucking dickheads. Thanks. I'd been getting carried away with it a bit recently.
...Is this satire? Please tell me this is satire. Monogamy is the dominant cultural strand. Nobody needs to extoll of its virtues because have you EVER seen a romantic comedy? Polyamory is judged and is unusual; that's why it has a large online support/explanatory network. Jesus Christ.
