Maybe I missed a part of that but are you suggesting that entirely based on the superficial similarity between the "gay voice" he does and the voice he uses for the sculptor? That is weak, man. Quite a stretch.

I disagree with the Youtube commenter. If someone asked me to describe my chin, I'd be like "...It's a chin." Likewise for all other parts. I wouldn't even know how to begin to describe it (or my nose, eyes (except for colour), cheekbones etc.).
I think they're pretty much separate. Unilever shareholders will profit off both but I don't think there's any real overlap in the day-to-day running of things.
Jumping to conclusions a bit. As the Onion pointed out, there are many people who could have wanted to do this. Assuming it's Islamists is a bit of a stretch already.
People underrate vaccines because they're so used to not dying of horrible diseases. I think the only reasonable solution is to bring back smallpox.
Not really. The only one you ever really hear anything about is the MMR vaccine because of Wakefield and the Daily Mail (also there's a massive measles outbreak in Swansea at the moment). But even then, uptake of the vaccine is over 90%, there was just a period in the '90s where it was all kicking off that people…
In other news, the use of the line break instead of a colon really confused me and I was wondering why they'd slipped into french sentence structure. Took me ages to figure out that they just wanted you to drink American beer.
I feel like professional journalists should know how to use the word "literally." It's not like it's a big secret.
People don't forget, it's just that he was famous and rich in a foreign country. He only became notable when white Anglophones started listening to his music. Or that song, rather.
Throughout most of western history, people couldn't vote. When we did introduce it, it was for landowners. It was never tied to military service as far as I'm aware.
The phrase you quoted says "Muslim cultures". Plural.
"Also it’s like a fun little narrative: where is mom? Is she dead? Is he divorced? Is she doing other houserunning jobs right now? Is she at work? Is she in another part of the store?"
She was a horrible prime minister and did terrible things to this country. I'd rather live in a country that had never had a female prime minister than have Thatcher as the first.
Nice to see Florida getting into the news for something positive.
Still at least 13 years behind where they should be...
Yeah, I'm open to that idea, I just think the fact that women aren't scaled up that large is also due to gender. So indirectly, gender is responsible for women's relative lack of strength.
See? That's much more genuine.
Flopping happens in basketball too and those are both cultural factors rather than qualities of the game per se. Although I agree with you that they're shit for the game and should be addressed. The comment was in jest though, and I also agree this doesn't need further discussion.
And my point was that the US doesn't actually have much interest in preventing atrocities from occurring e.g. US support of Saddam, Saudi Arabia, Pinochet, Batista, the Shah of Iran, the Contras, the Mujahideen.
Yeah but isn't gender responsible for the difference in size and amount of muscle mass between men and women? I don't think anyone's claiming that a man's muscle would be inherently stronger than a woman's muscle but his increased level of testosterone means it's easier for him to have more of it than a woman…
