Chill out people, I'm sure ammon8r is as desperate as the rest of us for racism to not exist any more. Except their solution isn't to try and fight it, but to pretend it doesn't exist
You can't claim that it's an inherent behaviour and not one acquired from social conditioning though. Men are taught to look and see all women as sexual targets. Unless you can find a whole bunch of men who weren't (to use as a control group), you can't appeal to nature to justify your behaviour. Societal pressures,…

That didn't seem that bad. You can't expect every candidate to be as smooth as Obama. Or a genuinely funny person.
I don't believe a lot of research is done on chimps anyway because there are too few of them for the research to be statistically significant. Likewise for any other animal considered to be relatively smart or cognitively developed.
It's also heartbreaking to think of all the children who died before we understood and could treat diabetes, cancer, or any other ailment, ever.
Michael moorcock agrees. Kind of. Certainly relevant to the comments section anyhow:
Not all adverts and campaigns are devised by the actual company. Like production, they contract stuff out and presumably don't vet the adverts, just as they don't vet their producer. Then they can claim ignorance if it transpires that they're doing something dodgy.
I wish people wouldn't obsess about so-called "natural" things. I drank a can of lemonade yesterday that had "natural CO2" in it. What the fuck is wrong with (science) education in the world that that kind of bullshit isn't flagged up at some point in production?
The first manned descent of the Marianas trench was by the US Navy.
Why say this isn't about nationalism and then sign off your comment with a really nationalist statement?
Is it? I used to be irritated by my female housemates wearing heels because it took forever to walk anywhere with them.
Why does America need to remain the leading superpower? Why does it matter who does what? We're all human.
I agree that more effort should be made to attract female volunteers.
Do an equal number of men and women volunteer for clinical trials? At least for phase one trials, I believe a much higher proportion of the volunteers are men. That alone is going to bias the results. Not sure about later ones assessing the efficacy and dosage but it's not beyond belief that men are more willing to…
She's already been released?
Really? It sounds like it's pretty different in British English. We use it all the time in a generically offensive sense, to refer to both men and women.
I read an interesting article (that I now cannot find, sorry) suggesting that's due to his Mormonism and how it's received by evangelicals, particularly in the Deep South. If he really bigs up faith, he spotlight's going to be shone on his Mormonism, so he can't say much more than anything generically christian (read:…
