The focus when we talk about divesity is usaully on race or gender. I’m totally guilty of just focusing on race and gender and never thinking of disabilities. We have to do better and fight for all types of diversity.

But if we cast people with disabilities as people with disabilities, how will they ever film the scenes where the poor, sad disabled person gets out of their wheelchair only to later discover that it was all a dream? What are we supposed to do? Not film those scenes?
I’m sorry but I need to eat this.
I’m surprised the FBI gave up. They are still on the lookout for those 3 guys in that daring mysterious 1962 Alcatraz escape. The FBI will be on the lookout for Frank Morris and the Anglin bros. until they turn 99, which will be 2025, 2029, 2030. They will probably stop when the first guy (Morris) turns 99.
I’m still a little disappointed that Don Draper didn’t end up being DB Cooper in the Mad Men finale.
less Fleetwood Mac and more Katy Perry
Clarkson is way funnier regardless of his many foibles. Combine him with Captain Slow and Hamster and you had a winning lineup.
It’s a safe way to explore your partner’s tastes. “Which of our friends/acquaintances would you fuck if you could?” is not a question most people are comfortable asking. That leaves celebrities as someone you’re both familiar with but don’t feel threatened by. And if your partner has horrible tastes in celebrities,…
So Kristen Stewart is....Taken?
Man, it's hard enough to find ONE partner...
What are you talking about? His comment about Affleck when introducing Matt Damon was hilarious.
I distinctly remember wearing almost every one of Rory’s outfits at some point or another in high school form 2000-2004. Even the tank top over t-shirts. It was a thing that happened, and I am forever thankful that my family was never big of photo-documenting our lives so no one can prove it.
I totally disagree. I think that the clothing suited their characters, and that the show did a good job with the time they were working with (early 2000s, not a great time for fashion, but definitely a time when those scarves were everywhere) and also growing with them - Rory’s wardrobe in particular. Rory, at the…
I am also disappointed that it looks exactly like an American wedding. How boring. I was hoping for some interesting traditions.
Unpopular opinion: I think Elsie Otter is actually kind of cute. I mean, I wouldn’t name my kid after an animal but it sort of works in this case. I’m just glad she didn't name her kid after a fruit or color.
I was just thinking about this. I’m thirty and I’m wondering when I should get a mammogram and a colonoscopy. colon cancer runs in my family. Breast cancer doesn’t, but a friend’s mom had it at 34 (she survived) so I know being young is no guarantee....
God, it must really be awful for those creators to have a bunch of people on the internet making assumptions about their intentions and criticizing them publicly. Good thing it’s only on twitter though, imagine if there was a whole app, just for that!
BIID is weird and impossible for most people to understand, but I’m glad she’s happy now. If this is what it took for her, that’s unfortunate. But people put their bodies through all kinds of trauma to achieve the same goal of being the self they believe they always should have been.
Homeless junkie pees on yogurt shop floor = sad and pathetic, needs help.
