The old ringpulls of the 60s and 70s could be turned into a fine weapon, by breaking off the metal ‘tail’, inserting it into one of the grooves in the actual ring and using it to fire the ring, which had jagged edges and corners, at anybody in range. Simple pleasures.

‘...no small feat. I disagree, he’s got two.

I was given this in the early 70s and it sparked my interest in cooking, the recipes being reasonably simple, but producing very impressive results (for a ten year old....). I now have shelves of cookery books, but unfortunately my copy of My Fun To Cook Book went astray many many years ago.

‘You gonna stack a bunch of beagles in a trench coat’. Only if they want to get into an R-rated movie.

‘Leftover cake’? Day by day this website become more and more detached from real life. They’ll be talking about leftover wine next.....

Same here, a jar of (now very) dried kidney beans I’ve been using for years. I was originally skeptical of ‘baking blind’ but after the first couple of attempts the advantages are obvious. 

I originally read that as ‘Papa Johns Epic Peppermint-Stuffed Crust Pizza’.

There has already been a feature film, with most of the original cast, only missing Pat Priest, Munster Go Home!, made in 1966m where the family go to England to try to trace their family roots, even though the pic was entirely shot on the Paramount backlot.  I saw it decades ago as a kid and believe I quite enjoyed

I seem to remember that there was a CSI episode in the first William Petersen run where they had to investigate a murder at a hotel during a furry convention. It actually took it (relatively) seriously.

Also it’s probably such a small production run, compared with the ‘normal’ versions, that a ‘bad batch’ could possibly be the entire batch.
