I automatically discount Facebook ‘news’ as just another useless counterpart to the Drudge Report, for two reasons:

That's the way to go. I'm very libertarian and the two sites I read the most are the Daily Caller & Salon. Sites I read the least are those that agree with me, like Reason. Too easy for everyone to insulate themselves in an ideological bubble. Gotta get out there.

I use /pol/ on 4chan. It appears the Jews are always to blame for some reason.

Hopefully folks get their news from multiple sources. Not just Facebook, or Gawker for that matter. But I suspect not.
