These articles bring out all the copsuckers.

I wonder how sustainable that will be, with competitors actually investing to develop and improve their models (well, maybe not Toyota just yet).

Yeah, it'd be great if the username checked out in this case...

Never set foot outside of North America, have we?

Thank you for commenting on this so I don't have to.

Spinning 1080 (unintentionally) in your car will definitely help moisten the pants though...

The parents are almost-certainly Party members.

If only we could get people to stop sucking at driving, then there’d be less “nEeD” for a 60-ton main battle tank for the mall run.

Elon Musk: the only man who could successfully(?) turn couch-surfing into a business strategy (see Twitter’s list of “I.O.Us” for their landlords).

Jebus, that's terrifying... Glad she could, uh.... "leave" without any injuries...

The only safe way to drive into a tree...

Use of per-capita stats here is inappropriate, especially since you note that the Netherlands have far more cycling (it’s tautological reasoning to condemn a place with more bike travel for having higher per-capita cyclist deaths). It’d be more useful to provide deaths-per-mile-travelled in comparison.

I think we are observing the same thing, but arriving at different conclusions.

I’m not optimistic (though I do like the idea of a more small-scale moving business model for things like those Ikea runs).

Damn - I should’ve added “just kidding” before I anger my Allophone compatriots.
