Yes! This is huge - even if you don’t have to drive the whole way: in my old suburbs life, I’d have to get up early to match a commuter train schedule, get there and hope there’s parking, and once parked, sprint for the train (on which you’d then spend 40-60min, depending on conditions - some people spend two hours

Also, if you’ve got poor self-control, you’ll find yourself replacing and paying for new tires more often (EVs are heavy and torque, and wear out their tires accordingly). Couple that with the 19-in or 20-in wheels these EVs (many modern cars, really) come with, and the tires are even more pricey (not to mention more s

Highly-recommend Youtubers like “Not Just Bikes” on more articulate explanations for why more density and multi-family dwellings should be part of our housing solutions, but as a former suburbanite who has been a condo dweller for the last 10 years (including the last 6 years with children in the mix), a few things

So... You gonna elaborate on this? Like I said, I’m legit hoping to learn, but your comment didn’t give much to work with.

    Looking for diss Trax then?

Heh... Twitter, I’m guessing... If I'm not mistaken, the purchase was partly debt-financed. Maybe he needed to grab the cash to post collateral.

Great, now would-be break-and-enter thieves will chop off my hands to get into my house...

From a non-investor standpoint, the sales numbers and growth looks fine. Try any other car maker and you probably won’t see a growth curve like this.

Elon’s probably using Tesla shares as collateral for everything from financing for the Twitter purchase to revolving credit for his daily spending (which is why it means nothing when billionaires claim they take $1 salaries). The banks are looking at TSLA prices as nervously as he is.

Jolt them into action, you say?

Here for purple! We the purple demand to be seen!

Legit curious, because I’d like to learn - what’s in my blindspot? What is it that I need to work through (I mean this from a genuine desire to learn)?

    That was some.... “slick” driving

If your seats weren’t brown from the factory, they might have been after that....

Ah, didn’t see this before I responded - but this is exactly what I had in mind.

Same. I have a young daughter: my wife and I sometimes wonder what we can do to help her identify, avoid, and if necessary, defend herself from people like these.

An unintended consequence of the One Child Policy” was that that only kid often became a spoiled brat.

Suddenly, this begins to make a lot of sense:
