Exactly this. I hope everyone who dislikes his dishonesty and arrogance voted “No” so he can continue drowning in the sewage pipe he decided to drill into.

Beyond the issues laid out by others (ranging from slave labour to the logical issues of having a city arranged in a straight line), there are also major issues for wildlife that live there - now the land has a massive line running through it, basically preventing anything that wants to traverse to the other side.

Like plugging the sound tube with the 12v socket plug...

Nothing a nice axleback and intake couldn’t fix!

The trend towards CVTs probably exacerbates the issue too, what with holding the engines that don’t sound particularly pleasant at constant RPMs...

If you have a better idea for accessing the heated/cooled user manual on the iPad inside the glovebox, I’d love to hear it.

Agreed on the noise of the FA series engines... When I first got my 2013 BRZ (replacing a ratty 2nd/3rd/4th-hand Celica GT), I thought the car was doing its best impression of “truck engine.” Even the 1ZZ-FE in the Celica sounded better. Not sure if that’s a boxer thing, or just a Subaru thing.

And don’t blame inclement weather. I dailied mine for 3 trouble-free* years in Southern Ontario, including frequent commutes between Toronto and London (Ontario edition), and drove it Traction off pretty much everyday with a good set of winter tires.

    Great (frugal/cheap) minds think alike.

Yeah, the sides are a bit too tall and slabby... Though I guess with 9,000lb EVs on the road, and inattentive drivers, it's necessary to give occupants a chance of survival...

Make it a carry-on? Might need to borrow a bone-saw from the purported-Saudi investors who may or may not have helped out with the Twitter deal though...

He'll break into using Kanji next

The daily dunks on Elon are 2022's way of making up for how it started.

    There's always Wingdings font!

Who would be dumb enough to buy this rip off Homelander?

19s are dumb on most cars... But especially on one where efficiency is the priority

There’s a big clamour for Tesla to make share buybacks to stabilize the price and comfort grieving shareholders, but I don’t think they’ve got the cash to do that.

    Practice makes perfect.

More damningly, he can’t even point to it being the product of broad-market malaise: yesterday and today, it was the big outlier as other peers (e.g. firms of comparable size and/or industry or index) largely made significant gains.

    Noticed this too.
