It’d be nice to see if the Canadian market gets the heated/cooled seats standard.

    Dude, that’s mean

My parents had a 2nd gen Prius (and now a CT200H) - the B-gear ramps up the regenerative braking/capture (typically, just taking your foot off the gas will regen some, but not as aggressively). Maybe not quite KERS, but sorta along those lines - you could (Principal Skinner-style) turn it into a game of seeing how

    Username checks out so hard.

Ask him what the current price of a Tesla share is, and then remark “on an unrelated note, where are my shorts?”

Thanks for a very enjoyable read!

TSLA shares down 4.3% at this moment, while the overall market is up.

It’s also possible that in a lot of places, traffic rules and infrastructure aren’t nearly as defined/developed, so knowing this, pedestrians and other users of the road are always on high alert/head-on-a-swivel and keeping an exit within arm’s reach at all times.

    In other news at Tesla:

For me, the act of driving manual is what makes the daily boring commute actually engaging and more enjoyable.

This demand issue might be the piece of bad news that “50k” announcement was intended to distract from.

I remember it mentioned here that the Prius battery can also be used to power household items (so it can function as a generator/battery of sorts).

Normally, I’d just resign myself to the fact that no matter how obvious it is that Musk will fail to deliver on yet another grandiose promise, investors blinded by dollar signs stuck in their eyes will still mindlessly click “BUY”

I’m operating on the assumption that the comment was tongue-in-cheek.... But also cognizant of the fact that many Teslafans are head-in-ass.

It’s almost as if the SEC creates perverse incentives to lie to investors and the markets in order to build up market cap big enough and rapidly enough that you’re deemed “too big to fail”

Based on your username, I’m gonna complain that it wasn’t in development long enough.

These wheels have a very narrow niche where they work... I think this might be one of those rare occasions (‘90s car, and most importantly, a genuine rally-bred machine).

Oh absolutely agreed. The Indigenous peoples (and the rest of us) deserve full acknowledgment for the sins of our government and acceptable (to the victims) restitution to the First Nations communities.

Unfortunately, the car wasn’t with me so I had to bring the new battery to my parents’ place.

I dunno - according to some of our “enlightened” “did my own research” types, Canada is also an authoritarian state for.... reasons?
