The poor, uneducated masses on the right, are only valuable as the pawns and footsoldiers of the billionaire class (who look down their noses at these numpties even as they exploit their ignorance).

    This sounds about right.

Canadian here. Can confirm Canadian Tire takes “liberties” on their automotive stuff.

You can take it Audi the VAG, but you can’t take the VAG outta the Audi...

For me, it was the attitude of many (not all) Tesla adopters, many of whom struck me as people who had only ever driven Toyota Corollas, suddenly loudly (and constantly) proclaiming how the Tesla was “the best car ever built” because “it could go much fast in line” and “have big screen like future”

Yup - it started with a handful... but that’s before we get into compliance with regulations, data/privacy protections, cybersecurity, updating to ensure different systems, hardware etc. all work properly.

Or (and I believe this has been documented in actual articles from reputable organizations) you decline to take a meaningful salary (knowing that salary income is taxed at the highest rates), and use collateral (such as Tesla shares) to take out loan facilities such as lines of credit from banks, and use those loans

So a heady blend of “MyPillow.com” and male enhancement ads?

I’d play the world’s tiniest violin for them, but sadly, that violin is now a NFT.

The worst part of this, is I don’t think the mechanic intended to rip me off (nor did he really benefit all that much) but I had a trusted mechanic (a former coworker of my father’s) do a prepurchase inspection on a 06 TSX I was looking to buy. Mechanic goes through a test drive, hoists it up, looks it over, and gives

You’ve managed to convince me that Ontario’s provincial politics are “not that bad”

The profit margins wouldn’t allow this to make business sense - I don’t think you can really have an a la carte model unless you’re selling at Porsche prices.

Alberta’s been buying up radio ads in Toronto, touting itself as a “better place to live” because real estate is cheaper, taxes are lower etc.

I’m watching the unfolding disaster/slow motion train wreck with fear and concern.

    Copenhavin’. Wish I were there.
