Agreed, buuuuuuut..... it might not be as bad as the numbers suggest, since the electric motors deliver torque instantly (so it may feel significantly peppier than the 156lb-ft figure suggests); that and the combined hp figures (from what I remember of older Toyota hybrids) isn’t just a simple “1 + 1 = 2" deal where

One night I dreamed I had a mid-engined Alfa Romeo Spider (but the old ones, not the current 4C), and was caning it down B roads in the autumn sunshine.

    Neutral:

Yeah, I can’t imagine anything with the “Charger” moniker to be in the same realm as “lightish” - if they can develop an EV that handles and corners well (and makes TIE fighter noises) I think I’m good.

Wow. I’ve never seen a vehicle advertise that it has a built-in penis pump so loudly before.

Yesterday was the best weather - warm, but not too hot - we gotta enjoy it while it lasts!

Hear hear - let’s hope someone makes a light(ish) EV geared towards driving involvement/enjoyment (probably a vain hope)

I just want to point out how much I enjoyed the middle screenshot of Justin rolling down Church Rd., while listening to Purgatory Drive.

As a bonus, I’m sure in 10 years, someone will have put together an aftermarket front fascia that addresses the..... “unpleasantness”

That means more urban centres that can be served by mass transit (and I say this

There’s a lot of sycophants “level-headed impartial observers” out there immediately jumping to his defence and claiming that there’s a smear campaign against him (because clearly St. Elon has

See, if you do B enough, you might learn to love it”

No doubt. I consider myself lucky to be in the GTA, where you might get subtle disapproving glances or micro-level stuff at the most. Openly racist comments or jokes do get made, but they're rare: even the meat head numpties know for the most part not to say what's on their minds (at least around witnesses).

As an Asian-Canadian, I remember about 10 years ago me and a couple buddies went fishing in the late hours of the night. We went to a lake less than 2 hours outside of Toronto.

And so began the new arms race: ED-209 vs the weaponization of stairwells.

If Mercedes lacked the foresight to anticipate the creative interpretation of the written rules at the whims of one man, then they deserved to lose.

    This came to mind immediately....
