If I had easy access to charging infrastructure, this one would be a contender.

My daughter (5yo) is old enough to know not to touch things and keep her mask on, so we are comfortable bringing her into stores and letting her walk around with us.

    Rubles?

Thank goodness most of us aren’t privileged enough to have our data leaked by Ferrari...

I agree with that in North America, Western Europe, and Asia (specifically China) but I’d suspect that neither Africa or South America are ready yet - and Toyota is very much a global company.

Good distinction to note! The article definitely gave the impression that the fans were part of extinguishing process.

It seems investors aren’t content with that (they made a bunch, but left 20,000 undelivered); the stock market is all about meeting analysts’ (constantly-climbing, not-always-realistic) expectations. Especially for a “growth” stock like Tesla.

Had it been a Tesla, I wonder if the ventilation method would work - it seems lithium battery fires are significantly harder to extinguish (and keep extinguished) than “boring” old gasoline fires....

Actually it's precisely that methane form that was the subject of the video.

First gear: There was a great video on YouTube explaining that Toyota deals with Japanese problems, one of which is (surprisingly to me) energy insecurity, especially now that they’ve moved away from nuclear in the post-Fukushima age.

Howdy, fellow National Swanga Association member!

Not sure about the new ones, but in my 1st gen, I’d be regularly hitting 30MPG in mixed-driving, including the occasional on-ramp/off-ramp shenanigans if conditions allowed for it.

In my first gen, I’d put a couple tires into the rear seat area by pushing the passenger seat forward; no point trying to work the stuff through the passthrough when you can simply drop it in through the passenger door.

I was ready to enjoy some schadenfreude until I read that bit about the “fines” Tesla has had to pay.

Don’t forget the roof rack for the cargo carriers that are definitely not empty.

There are spinoffs of this garbage elsewhere too - for a couple years, they would flock to the parking lot of the nearby Smartcenter on Labour Day long weekend and do donuts, stuntdriving, and general assholery into the wee hours of the morning (ignoring that just across the street in several directions, are

As a former young man, and current nearing-middle-age man, let me fix this for you:

TBF, the Lotus Elise-based Tesla Roadster has been reputed to be pretty terrible to drive in anything but a straight line.

Between this, Uvalde, and other instances of cops standing back when certain kinds of armed vigilantes/posses show up, I’m sure there’s a lesson to be learned about the bravery and professionalism of law enforcement officers.
