Is it so different from when women are accused of seeking fame when they allege sexual harassment by powerful people?
I am super curious what they do with Ahsoka. I am worried they will basically just handle her story like they did Mandos and make kind of a weekly adventure kind of thing, but I’m really dying for them to show us her journey into the really weird and out there side of the Force. I like the animated stuff, so I really…
On the Cyberpunk question, I kind of disagree. It’s complicated as I also played the Netrunner build and the thing it is ridiculously overpowered, so in essence it just allows you to basically skip majority of the fights in the game as you can basically cover in a corner, ping and shock/contagion/burn enemies from…
I agree. My 70+ year old relatives love Mando and Baby Yoda and are not huge Star Wars fans. I know lots of non-Star Wars Fans that have asked me about the show or have gotten into it.
I agree, but the only thing we can measure is Mando. Mando good. Ahsoka? Bad Bunch? Rangers? Whatever the other things are called? We’ll see....
The bigger news here to me is that Lok is not a one-and-done series. For some reason I imagined all of these upcoming Marvel shows (WandaVision, Falcon, Loki) to be one-season things.
So who’s gonna direct? I ‘nominate’ Joe Johnston. He’s worked with both Star Wars and Marvel. He might be retired though.
Also X and X-2, which are arguably more beloved than any of those other games.
95% of people (conservatively) at Galaxy’s Edge don’t know what “Cannon” is, much less care about it. If you grab someone and tell them Grogu doesn’t belong there they will look at you blankly until you explain that you mean Baby Yoda.
Lucky for him and them, not so much for the rest of us.
THANK YOU. I’ve been saying this for years. His style is so aggressively adolescent and his themes are so boorishly immature that watching his films is like listening to a grade school playground at recess. A howling cacophony of anger, posturing, threats and lies. Nothing he produces any real substance to it because…
It’s a pretty solid way of discussing products and experiences people pay money for, though. Movies are as much products as they are art.
It should also be mentioned that Man of Medan is a shorter game than Until Dawn. I haven’t played Little Hope, but expect it’s also a shorter game. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, but apparently it bothered a lot of people.
Isn’t Man of Medan—or whatever it was called—a spiritual sequel to Until Dawn?
Everyone should be free to post what they want unless it’s illegal or harms someone else, or leads to someone being harmed.
You know you’re on a former sister site to the guys who went bankrupt rather than comply with a court order to take Hulk Hogan’s sex tape down, on freedom of expression grounds, right?
I’ve thought for a while that creators should be able to enter fair use information during upload.
I think most streaming services are learning that you don’t have to declare a format. A half hour show is about 22 minutes and an hour show is double that when you take the commercials out. Mandalorian episodes run 32 to 54 minutes and don’t have traditional act breaks every 7 - 12 minutes like clockwork.
Speaking half hour and Marvel, has anyone heard WandaVision’s format? Half hour or hour? And I’m assuming it’ll be a weekly release, like Mando, and not an all at once binge worthy release?
