It’s pretty insane that Disney/Marvel made that mistake for basically a split second and WB/DC saw a golden opportunity and just took it.

2009 but I’d put Red Faction: Guerilla on here. It was a technically a sequel but the major gameplay elements were pretty different from the original. Definitely a closer vibe to one of the games listed above.

Yeah I would definitely put money on this. Throw in a Young Avengers/Champions in there somewhere.

Scott Derrickson leaving Doctor Strange only for Marvel to get Sam raimi to replace him has got to be one of the best damage control moves in comic book movie history.

Yeah but what’s great about PvE specifically is that as long as the servers are up you can jump in with friends and play at any time.

Nah I love all 3 ME trilogy games for different reasons. I love deep RPGs and it’s ok that Mass Effect wasn’t one of them. Especially now in 2021 when we are having a huge boom of cRPGs and really nothing trying to replicate the style of ME2 and ME3.

Really gives 2011 me a lot of validation because I remember constantly saying Mass Effect’s gameplay is perfect for co-op. I still want a full co-op campaign from Bioware. (Traditional Bioware style not Anthem style)

Some people still react to multiplayer announcements like it’s 2011 and they are waiting for Mass Effect 3. Put some faith in the devs who have proven they know how to make great games.

That hurts. I still have plenty of options for theaters but the loss of Arclight really hurt. It was a really high quality theater.

Now playing

Bleachers and Leon Bridges both high on my list.

So bummed that Arclight (specifically Arclight in Chicago) didn’t make it through the pandemic. High quality theater with a good blend of indie films and films like F9. No ads before the movie, max 3 trailers. Summer Shandy on tap. Really gonna miss it.

Yeah I feel like saying Rise sucks is the most controversial Star Wars opinion. Even the people who like it know its not good.

Its obviously preference but I still prefer New Horizons more than Stardew because it’s a different style of game.

It would absolutely not surprise me if a big update came out the same time as the Switch Pro. Upgrade the game to 4k, new features, new NPCs, maybe a Switch Pro exclusive feature or two. Get all those new players people who bought a Switch for Animal Crossing talking about the game again.

Yeah I’ve been playing since day one. Usually I play 2-3 hours a week making incremental changes. Sometimes I think about starting over and playing at this rate because it feels like the best way to play.

Yeah even as a linear action RPG it’s just not that fun or satisfying. Like it doesn’t really even matter what skills you give your character because you are usually walking down the same hallway, killing the same NPCs, in the same order, no matter what your character build is.

And here I thought the first half of the game felt rushed. Glad I stopped playing.

Maybe it’s just him being excited about a project he gets to help announce but it’s Keighley’s facial expression that make me think the theory is true. He just has the expression of a guy who is trying so hard to not ruin a surprise party.

Also Microsoft is the one actively trying to get gamepass on every console. They want to be able to reach the whole market.

I treat it like I treat streaming music on spotify, if I find a band I really like I buy vinyl or merch. If i find a game I love on gamepass I usually buy it.
