I actually just happened to rewatch Avengers last night, going into it I thought the same things as you. Really didn’t think it would hold up. But honestly if you can still kind of transport your mind to 2012, still kicks a lot of ass.

Boy was the Age of Ultron comic a real stinker. OP I’m sure you know this, but it was also a heavily delayed comic so none of the characters fit in with their “Marvel NOW” reboot persona. Best example, Spider-man was actually Doc Ock in Spider-man’s body. Which we see in the Superior Spider-man tie in, but it is not…
Yep. Honestly, I would say the only thing that doesn’t make it worth it is the hassle of getting it. I had to stop trying on gamestop, target, ect. because trying to get it from those sites would actively ruin my day. An hour of add to cart/refresh in the middle of the work day. Sony direct was painless though. Took…
I don’t want to add to your pain, but I just got my PS5 (through direct) and the Quality of Life Benefits really cannot be understated. I’ve tried a few different PS4 games in my backlog and the difference in loading is wild. On PS4 I would sip my coffee and send a couple texts between loading screens, no time for…
I 100% agreed with this blog until last week I finally got a PS5 with Sony Direct (the store I tried to buy from after the first two months of adding to cart hell).
I get that speculating about cameos and crossovers is fun but how is no one in the comments talking about how gorgeous this movie looks.
I feel like I just missed the boat on GTA Online. I played a ton of GTA IV and that multiplayer when I was in high school. Being an adult sucks.
I watched my partner play on her original xb1 for an hour and i played an hour on the original ps4. Looks great. Plays great. Loading into the game takes a touch too long but elevators and loading screens in game aren’t bad.
Yeah like its a safe casting. But I think with the Fantastic Four right now you kind of got to go big or go home.
Only if we get the storyline where a bunch of evil Reed Richards from different universes team up. New Avengers vs. 12 Danny Trejos
See that’s an idea I can get behind. If Danny Trejo was cast as anyone in the MCU I would be 100% hyped.
Blunt I get. I’d watch her in anything.
Truly will never understand the Krasinski Blunt fan casting. Are they a married couple who look like a fictional married couple? Sure. But what else?
People will continue to obsess over Easter eggs like this for Venom and Morbius but I would put money on nothing more ever coming from it. I seriously doubt Marvel Studios will ever let another studio have complete creative control over a movie that exists within the MCU. Even if it is part of the “multiverse” or…
Excuse me for making a joke about a rich and famous actor/director/producer
For a minute, I was really on John Krasinki’s team. This movie was a week away from release before it got delayed. That had to hurt. But he took it like a champ and went on to make a very positive low budget web show that helped lift a lot of people’s spirits.
Godzilla Vs. King Kong made about 400 million. Assuming Quiet Place 2 was made on the same budget as the original (20mil according to wiki) that would be a pretty hefty haul for them.
To be fair, I think the only reason they didn’t confirm Hopper was alive at the end of season 3 is because they were waiting to see how much money Hellboy made. Spoiler alert: Not enough to kill Hopper.
Yeah Falcon and Winter Soldier kind of stumbles in establishing exactly why Sam is Captain America. The message is there but it’s not near as clear as First Avenger was crystal clear about what Steve Rogers stood for.
Been re-watching the MCU with my parents. Your comment kind of highlights my belief that Captain America kind of carried the MCU on his back. Obviously, Iron Man launched the MCU and at the time it was easy to call Avengers “Iron Man and Friends”. But First Avenger really nailed Captain America and so many MCU movies…
