In Far From Home, the public thinks he is dead. In the this show civilians keep saying he is on the moon. Notably, not a single Avenger ever actually acknowledges what happened to him after End Game. My money is on him showing up as an Old Man at some point to give advice to Sam.

My prediction is that he will show up as an Old Man in Captain America 4 to give some advice to Sam. This version of Steve will never have powers again.

The fact that it wasn’t a three way battle was disappointing. I still think they could have Walker “Turn good” but don’t do it until after he see’s Sam being an actual good Captain America.

I really feel like just one scene for her and one for Walker in Episode 1 could have gone a long way. Especially when Walker and ...friend.... reference their missions before Walker became Captain America and they say something like “It didn’t exactly feel like heroic work”

I really enjoyed this show, but much like WandaVision it felt like it needed a once over. Like we were watching the first edit without any reshoots. (Which I think was the case for Wanda. I remember reading their reshoots were weird because of COVID).

Depends who you ask. If you look at the twitter you will see replies from a group of people with a long list of complaints.

Getting slightly more interested. I still wish the other pilot had been picked up. The premise of this shows runs the risk of being a rehash of the original (specifically a rehash of the good seasons). The other pilot had the white walkers as villians again but was set well before the seven kingdoms were formed which

Personally, I think if it is a good quality show, the audience will come back to it.

Yeah and it’s kind of like, what else were they gonna do with this character? She was more or less just in two movies as a love interest for Steve. She’s a spy, but we are already getting a Black Widow movie with a new Black Widow on deck ready to go. It was go full evil or remain a semi forgettable side character. As

Lol yeah I mean his main point is... flawed. But I do think there is something to be said about the characterization of Karli and John Walker which he kind of touches on. Specifically, I think we needed to see them pre-serum and pre-Captain America. Maybe I’ll change my mind on re-watching, but I think they both

Yeah like he makes some good points but publishing this take the day before the finale is crazy. Like walking out of the theater before the final act and saying “Not very satisfying”

Now playing

Absolutely. Just wanted to post the exact scene because I love Captain America First Avenger. This moment is incredibly relevant to Falcon and Winter Soldier.

I do agree with parts of this essay, but I do think it’s a little weird to post this essay a day before the finale. Gotta let them finish telling the story before you can declare they fumbled the story they were trying to tell.

As a premise for a movie, court case about a guy who may have been demonically possessed is a great idea. But basing it directly off a real world event seems like not a great idea.

That moment really feels like a cliche bad sequel moment. Like you can hear hollywood executives talking it into existence seconds after James Wan left the room.

Semi Related: It occurred to me how Invincible (show and comic) fills such an obvious void in the Super Hero genre. Like a superhero show that basically blends the two of the most popular super heros, plays it completely straight, is on-going and doesn’t care about returning to a “Status quo” after an arc, and is

I have a feeling it is a little of both. They got rid of Ellis last July. I’d bet they could have kept this show going but decided they had a good ending that would allow them to move onto another project without Ellis’ name attached to it.

I don’t want to open up GoT discourse, but “loved to hate” implies a well written villain. I thought the general consensus was that Euron (the show version) just kind of sucked?

The federal government banning the game is censorship. Vendors deciding they don’t want to sell a product because they think it will make them look bad is just capitalism.

The Half-Life 2 mod “Zombie Master” was a much better version of that game and it came out like 15+ years earlier.
