This is obviously a super bias opinion, but my only experience with the “Smash community” is a bunch of super toxic dudes at my university. It always left a bad taste in my mouth and a more literal bad smell in my nose.

Yeah I’ve heard from devs of other games that competitive gaming tournaments really don’t do a whole lot for them financially.
Honestly, I love Hawkeye in Age of Ultron and Civil War.
To be fair, (and I’m surprised no one has replied this yet) the source material that the Hawkeye show is at least inspired by is super aware of the fact that having an archer the Avengers makes no sense.
Yeah I remember hearing rumors’ that the casting for Pugh’s character was pretty competitive because it would a pretty big part going forward.
I still think the other Game of Thrones prequel with Naomi Watts set before the Seven Kingdoms was formed would have been a better idea. Yes they would have been fighting the Night Walkers again but I think the different setting could have added a ton of variety and potential story telling.
Dumb question maybe: Is this game still a battle royal?
Yeah plenty of cis men have played trans people so doesn’t seem like an issue.
Yeah this is true. I guess just because of this year (waves hands) it has all just kind of fallen out of the cultural conversation for now.
I’ll be honest I much prefer the philosophy of “Don’t destroy what you hate, save what you love” over “Jedi is death”
Does anyone else feel like this is a dead universe walking?
I feel similar. I’ve watched all three seasons so far but I’ve got no interest right now. I’m sure I’ll succumb to Netflix marketing at some point and put it on in the background while I play Animal Crossing or something.
I mean good writers are fluid. Things change. Especially with a property this big. (I don’t know why Star Wars fans are obsessed with planning stories years ahead of time) I doubt when Filoni wrote the end of Rebels he was expecting a chance to have Ashoka show up in a stand alone live action show. Seems like Favreau…
I mean you can’t see their faces but they have humanoid bodies.
So I’m assuming it is mostly Rebels and Clone Wars fans here, but did anyone else have an issue with the way Ashoka was introduced?
Unless you are still playing games on your original PS4 like me, huge upgrade incoming.
It sure feels like dominoes being set up right now. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if Ahsoka only shows up in one or two episodes of Mando. Maybe they just needed a jedi or someone related to Jedi and she was there.
Collin Kaepernick was cancelled pretty hard by the right.
I’m probably wrong but I don’t expect Ashoka or any other Jedi to be a huge part of the series. I imagine they’ll have an adventure together and than Ashoka will set him up with a new lead and send him on his way.
Yeah plus I think the Mando still really is about all the adventures and troubles that the character runs into in his day to day life. So I imagine he has some bad luck in between leaving the current planet and finding Ahsoka. I’ll put money on a last second Ahsoka reveal in the next episode and roll credits.
