Yeah I guess I just got my hopes up for that in Infinity War and then it didn’t happen so now i’m cynical haha

I’m betting she’s only in it for one short scene. They filmed Avengers and Black Panther around the same time and definitely had no idea how popular the characters would be.

Yeah i’ve noticed a lot of “shes annoying/unlikeable” without any real reason stated why. Maybe that’s true but I can’t help but think there is some bias.

I think it just had a bunch of characters taken out of the shot. Like vision, scarlet witch, and quicksilver.

It is a mess. Granted I don’t use it all that often but it takes me forever to find anything. 

Yeah I agree there seems to be a lot of subconscious sexism towards Brie Larson. Like I saw yesterday some guys complaining about the scene where she steals the motorcycle and how it’s so unheroic. But I feel like “hero steals a thing from an asshole” is kind of an action film trope that these guys probably never…

I always think it’s silly when people complain about stuff like that but I also know if it was something close to me or that I cared about I would be annoyed about it. 

Also if my secret agent friend, who kept tons of secrets and once assembled a team of superheroes, had a 30-year-old piece of technology on him that was clearly sending a signal when he died, I would hold onto it.

Yeah he’s very calm when he’s told about the ships that landed in Wakanda. He’s like “yeah keep monitoring it, let’s get some lunch”

I’m so glad we’ve (mostly) moved on from the “why doesn’t iron man help captain America” in his solo movie and complaints like that. I felt like I would see that complaint a million times during phase 2.

Real Life explanation: These small retcons kind of happen all the time. Not sure what you are referring to in the last paragraph but even if she was planned the whole time it doesn’t mean they had the script written. Also, it’s one line from a movie that came out 8 years ago so who cares if it doesn’t make sense if…

I totally agree with you. But I think the problem (Disney’s problem) is that there are certain international areas that won’t play movies with gay characters.

OH yeah I love the show but this is a great list of how different the show and book became. I’m sure we’ll have a pretty good idea of where everyone ends up at the end of the book but the journey in the last two books is going to be sooooo different.

I’m putting my money on the show was changed for the worse (I do love the show) and that’ll mean the books are that much better. Like the Arya-Sansa storyline last season, I’m willing to bet that was completely made up for tv.

Totally agree with both comments. Not to mention there are so many storylines that didn’t even make it into the TV show we’ll still get to see play out. 

For all you not cat people, my girlfriend got one a few months ago and it has totally converted me. Still love dogs but cats are really something special.
