Honestly I think it’s part of the charm. It’s almost like in universe that’s not his real body so he’s given this suit with muscles added in.

And the question I keep asking (which I’m probably rightfully getting flak for) is: what does it mean to “cancel” someone when they are already dead?
To be clear I believe the accusations but I know there are a lot of people who don’t like believe abusers because there is no hard evidence. But your comment is why I’m asking. Like Kevin Spacey, for example, is still alive. Supporting his work is enabling his bad unjust behavior. Michael Jackson is dead and gone.…
I mean I havn’t seen the doc yet so what is my first question supposed to be? Honestly asking. Whats the call to action? Is there others involved who need to be brought to justice?
Are we supposed to stop listening to his music now? Like lets say there was super hard evidence of the allegations and they were super true. I mean he’s dead so it’s not like we’re giving him money when we listen. Idk I’m just not sure how we the public are supposed to react to this doc. So curious on others opinions.
I feel like we all need to do a better job educating our parents on like internet competency. I saw the same two moms on facebook this last week share two fake viral posts. One was momo and the other was something about guys putting drugs on business cards. A two second google on both revealed them to be fake. All I’m…
Carrie Coon is awesome and we don’t deserve her.
Pleasantly surprised by the positive review. Not at all surprised by the typical cynical and mean AV club comments.
Oh yeah don’t get me wrong I love First Class and it was a great starting point for a reboot. I just don’t think professor X should be the protagonist again. I’d prefer something like maybe it’s Cyclops has just graduated from student to teacher and it’s his first time actually leading his own X-men. Or actually but…
Yeah you could start a few years into X-men history and it could be the first time like Cyclops or storm or someone takes on their own team of X-men. Then most of the team could be made up of new mutants.
I mean the last part of the trailer looks like they’ve been captured by humans and are being carted off to somewhere. Maybe some secret facility that does terrible stuff to mutants or gets rid of their mutant side.
Yes! It’s at the point were I feel like the presidential race in 2020 isn’t near as important as getting more young people into congress and the senate. It seems like it’s a more long term solution than just getting a democratic president.
Yeah honestly I think the first X-men movie back should definitely not have magneto and maybe not even have professor X. They need to follow the spider-man homecoming/harry potter but with an ensemble. Make it about a group of younger heroes and let us watch them grow into their world saving roles.
Yes killing a character right at the beginning of this movie will set it apart from say X-men: The Last Stand, which starts with Jean Grey killing... hmmmm
perfect!
Yeah! lol Or like Gareth Edwards shows up for one shot that is blink and you miss it.
That got me lol
I’m glad. Remember that terrible Ed Sheeran Cameo? It would have been fine but they kept cutting back to him during a characters conversation like “Look who is here! It’s Ed Sheeran” The new Star Wars movies are great examples on how to do cameos.
Yeah I agree with you. The moment in the last book where he ignores her letter is great but in the show it almost takes to long to get there.
I think the book was setting him up to do some awesome warging and learning about details of the past. But I think the show cut out so many characters and plotlines that we’re left feeling unsatisfied. Just my theory.
